Favored Soul
Alignment: A favored soul’s alignment must be within one step of her deity’s, along either the law/chaos axis or the good/evil axis. A favored soul may not be neutral unless her deity is neutral.

Class Skills
The favored soul’s class skills are Craft (Int), Diplomacy (Cha), Fly (Dex), Heal (Wis), Knowledge (arcana) (Int), Knowledge (religion) (Int), Profession (Wis), Sense Motive (Wis), and Spellcraft (Int).

Skill Ranks per Level: 2 + Int modifier.

Class Features
All of the following are class features of the favored soul.

Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Favored souls are proficient with all simple and martial weapons, light armor, medium armor, and shields (except tower shields). A favored soul is also proficient with her deity’s favored weapon. Although a favored soul is not proficient with heavy armor, wearing it does not interfere with her spellcasting.

Aura (Ex): A favored soul of a chaotic, evil, good, or lawful deity has a particularly powerful aura corresponding to the deity’s alignment (see the detect evil spell for details).

Spells: A favored soul gains a certain amount of spells at will, depending on their level, shown at Table 1-2: Spells per Day.

Chaotic, Evil, Good, and Lawful Spells: A favored soul cannot cast spells of an alignment opposed to her own or her deity’s. Spells associated with particular alignments are indicated by the chaos, evil, good, and law descriptors in their spell descriptions.

Orisons(cantrips): At 1st level, a favored soul gain Orisons, or cantrips.

Deity’s Weapon Focus: At 4th level, a favored soul gain Weapon Focus with Deity’s favored weapon type.

Energy Resist: At 5th level, a favored soul gains 5 damage reduction to chosen energy type. Repeat this at level 10, 15, and 20. At level 15, increase damage reduction for all chosen energy types to 10. This will also apply for future chosen energy types.

Deity’s Weapon Specialization: At 9th level, a favored soul gains Weapon Specialization with Deity’s favored weapon type.

Damage Reduction: At 15th level, a favored soul gains 10/silver damage reduction if lawful, and 10/cold iron damage reduction if chaotic. A favored soul who is neither lawful or chaotic can choose which damage reduction.

True Strike: At 14th level, a favored soul can empower his deity’s favored weapon type to ignore 10 points damage reduction when attacking.

Wings: At 19th level, a favored soul gains wings and can fly at 60ft (good maneuverability). A favored soul’s wings depends on their deity’s alignment-a good-aligned deity grants angelic, feathered wings, an evil-aligned deity grants bat-like wings, a draconic deity grants draconic wings, a faerie deity grants butterfly-like wings. Other deities will give varied wing visuals, ask DM as how they look.

Bonus Languages: A favored soul automatically knows the languages Celestial, Abyssal, and Infernal. A favored soul can also learn the language Veteribus, depending on their deity.
